    A man is dead after a stabbing on F Street Wednesday. Detectives were investigating the scene Wednesday after a report of a possible homicide. When deputies arrived, they located a deceased adult male, with multiple stab wounds. During the investigation, detectives learned 28-year-old Juan Carlos Ortega was the suspect in the investigation.     A resident voiced her concerns about crime at Tuesday’s City Council meeting, after an officer-involved shooting last week.     On Sunday at approximately 9:30 p.m., deputies from the Wasco substation responded to shots fired at the 1200 block of 8th Place. During the investigation, deputies learned that Espiridon Beltran, 40, had possibly fired several shots from a firearm in front of a residence.     Shafter police arrested a man in Wasco on suspicion of two crimes that occurred in Shafter, beginning on last Friday. Anthony Chavez, 25, was arrested at the Wasco Motel on Highway 46 on Sunday when officers with the Shafter Police Department received information that Chavez was staying there.
