Every church is flawed. People have bad experiences, of one kind or another, even at healthy churches. Churches are made up of people, so this isn't a big surprise. Shay came into the Wasco Animal Shelter as a stray. She is approximately a 2-4-year-old female schnauzer terrier mix. Shay is great with the staff and other dogs. A shooting in Wasco on Sunday left one man with traumatic injuries. Two suspects have been identified as father and son, Alberto Padilla, Sr., 62 and Alberto Padilla, Jr., 40, of Wasco. A Shafter man was arrested on May 23 in a possible child molestation investigation.
