Spaghetti Dinner – Colours is selling spaghetti dinners at $15 a plate at the Veteran’s Hall. Drive through only. 3:30-6:30 p.m.

Coffee House Music Strings — Come and enjoy live acoustic music at Tin Cup, 7-9 p.m. Cover charge

is $5.

Friday, Feb. 23

Minter Field Air Museum -- Come out and check out Shafter’s Minter Field. Admission is free. 1-2 p.m.

Art Gallery — Come and see a Kern County artist at the Ford Theater, Free admission. 1-7 p.m.

Coffee House Music Jazz — Come and enjoy live Jazz Music at the Tin Cup 7-9 p.m. Cover charge is $5.

Saturday, Feb. 24

2 Mile Fun Run/Walk — Register at the SRPD office to pre-register by Friday, Feb. 23. $25 registration fee.

Cans d’ Arte Exhibit — The Shafter Depot Museum will be displaying local participants’ canned food

Art. 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Admission is free.

Green Hotel — Free Green Hotel tour, 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m.

Car Show — Car show 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Tin Cup parking lot. There is a $10 car registration fee.

Youth Art Workshops – A and B session at the Tin Cup Stage. Maximum 25 per session. $15 fee A: 10-

11:30 p.m., B: 1-2:30 p.m.

Polymer Key Chain Workshop — At the Tin Cup patio. $10 fee. 11:30 a.m.-12:20 p.m.

Meet Children’s Author Jennifer Gardiner — Free at the Ford Theater, 3-4 p.m.
