Easter weekend events

There are several Easter weekend events in Wasco beginning Friday through Easter Sunday.

On Friday at 6 p. m., St. John’s Evangelical Church at 1129 9th Place will have its annual Passion of the Cross play on the schoolyard. Easter masses will be held Saturday at 6 p.m. and Sunday at 8 a.m. (Spanish), 10 a.m. (English) and noon (Spanish).

On Saturday, Westside Family Fellowship, 2150 Palm Ave., will be having Easter Prep Day, where there will be activities for the entire family beginning at 10 a.m. The church also has a special Easter service at 9 a.m. on Sunday.

Also on Saturday, the Easter Fest will run from 9 a.m. to noon at Barker Park including an Easter egg hunt. All are invited.
