Serving the community since 1970
Nov. 9, 1974 – April 9, 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our brother, Brian Scott Cain, who left us on April 9, 2024. He was 49 years old.
Brian was born in Wasco on Nov. 15, 1974, to Deana and Ronald E. Cain. He grew up in Shafter, where he graduated from Shafter High School in 1992.
Brian was a hard worker and devoted employee of Sill Properties for more than 25 years, where he was greatly appreciated by his colleagues. He was a joy to work with and always tried to assist others.
While not an outwardly religious man, Brian accepted Christ Jesus as his savior and was baptized at an early age. He lived his faith out by being a humble, caring and generous soul. He was one of those people that would help anyone in need. He was a happy go lucky, contented individual.
Brian was definitely a family man. He loved fishing, especially deep sea fishing with his family. Every weekend you could find him hanging out with his brother Chris and nephew Ryan. He also loved getting together for the holidays and for family birthdays, luncheons where he would always ordered his favorite meal, steak! He was especially fond of his nephew Tristan, with whom he shared an apartment.
Brian is survived by his brothers, Ronald Cain, Christopher Cain and sister Summer Davis. He was a loving uncle to Elijah, Domnik, Roman, Khloe, Jasiah, Tristan and Ryan. He was also much loved by his aunts and cousins. Our family truly will not be the same without him.
A graveside service to celebrate his life will be held Tuesday, April 30, at 10 a.m. at the Shafter Cemetery. We know you are safe in the presence of Jesus, dear brother. You will be in our hearts and memories forever.
