Golden Oak honored Anais Magana as a Tiger of the Month and Jordan Zendejas as Most Improved Scholar.

"We appreciate the work of all of our staff that support our scholars. We also want to thank Walmart Distribution Center for providing our teachers with goodie bags and a Subway lunch," said Superintendent Rosa Romero.

At Golden Oak Elementary School, they recognized some of their students with a special assembly. The school had individual assemblies to recognize their Golden Tigers. These are students who demonstrate all of the character traits that the Tigers strive for. They also rewarded a few students with Most Improved Scholar awards.

They took pictures of the scholars with their teachers, reminding them that they see the best role models of integrity and hard work every day in the classroom," said Romero.

The Redwood Our Kindness squad also created handmade cards for staff members.
