Come and meet Derek in person.
Derek is a tan and black shepherd mix who is about 1½ years old. He is an adorable guy who came into the Shafter Animal Shelter a little shy. But, he is eager to learn about toys and long walks with my new family.
Derek has been neutered, vaccinated and has passed all of his SAFER evaluations. He is ready for that forever home. He would love to find an active family with a big yard that he can run around in. If you are interested in meeting Derek in person, you can come to the Shafter Animal Shelter at 18849 S. Shafter Ave. or call 661-746-2140.
Shelter hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Wednesdays 1 to 7 p.m.
