MV Autoworks provides reliable service

MV Autoworks Collision Center opened in 2004. Over the years, the company has earned a reputation for quality work and attention to detail.

Owner Jesus Luna manages the business, along with his large team including five technicians.

"I have employees to look after,: he said "I am helping to feed their family like they are helping me."

Luna graduated in 2006 with a degree in criminal justice from Cal State Bakersfield. While he was in school, he opened up his shop.

"I was already up and running, so I just kept going with the business. I thought, 'Let me give it a whirl,' and if I don't like it, I can sell it and move on," Luna said .

With an ethic of hard work and a steady clientele, he has kept growing and enjoying the fruits of his success.

"I have a lot of loyal and awesome clients," he said. "You have to go above and beyond in business."

MV focuses on automotive body and paint work and collision repair and offers "very competitive pricing," Luna says.

The Wasco resident is a people person and prides himself on setting an example for the rest.

"I'm always busy on the go. I like to be on the move and instill that in other people."

He said, "I blow anyone out of the water with our customer service."

His mindset is that you have to be willing to find the solution for any issue regarding a customer.

"We have a limited lifetime warranty on all of our work. I think that is very valuable," said Luna.

He often works after hours.

"You have to act as fast as you can to get issues with customers solved. If I make a mistake or my techs make a mistake, I will fix it right away, and in business, that will take you a long way."

Luna does not advertise on social media and relies on word of mouth. With that, he can keep steady with a busy flow of clients.

"If you want to make a million dollars, you need to move. It's not going to fall out of the sky. I'm hungry and stay hungry to be able to help people when I have to," said Luna.

He certainly follows this belief and supports many local youth sports, FFA, churches and different organizations, to name a few.

"I like to give back to my community. I love to do that. It's something I feel like I have to do. It's part of me," said Luna.

Luna said his location in Wasco is convenient for those in Wasco, Shafter and Delano.

"We are on a busy street as well. If you produce good work, people will come to you."

Born and raised in Wasco, he enjoys the small-town feel. "I pretty much know everybody in the community," he said.

His team is bilingual. "I think this is important because so many people in Wasco are Hispanic."

Regarding the future, he hopes for good health "so I can keep moving forward and growing."
