Pet of the Week: Introducing Wally

Wally came into the Wasco Animal Shelter as a stray. He is 6 to 8 months old, and is a male, lab/dachshund mix. He is great with staff and with other dogs of all sizes. It is unknown if Wally is house/crate trained. Dogs are not tested with children; his behavior toward children is unknown. Wally will be available for adoption on Oct. 17. If this is your dog, please call the shelter immediately. Proof of ownership will be required (vet records, vaccine history, photos).

Everyone is welcome to adopt from our facility, and we like to give everyone the same opportunity to adopt. Adopters can be from out of town or local. We do not place holds for adoptions. Adopters are responsible for transportation.

Adoptions are on a first-come, first-serve basis, beginning at 8 a.m. on the date they are available. You are welcome to call us the day before their availability to ensure the pet is still up for adoption.

More information is available from [email protected] or [email protected].
