The final Shafter Learning Center history lecture of the spring will be presented Thursday, May 14, at 6:30 p.m. at the center.

Stan Wilson of the Shafter Historical Society will be speaking on “Shafter – Potato Capital of the World. “ Included will be an RV Scott photo essay and the Disney film, “The Great Potato Race.”
