Pet of the Week: Introducing Tarzan

Tarzan came into the Wasco Animal Shelter as a stray. He is approximately a 2-3-year-old male Belgian malinois. He is great with staff and has been tested with large dogs only. At the time, it is unknown if Tarzan is house/crate trained. Dogs are not tested with children and cats; his behavior toward cats and children is unknown. Tarzan will be available for adoption on May 16.

Everyone is welcome to adopt from our facility, and we like to give everyone the same opportunity to adopt. Adopters can be from out of town and/or local. We do not place holds for adoptions. Adopters are responsible for transportation.

Adoptions are on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning at 8 a.m. on the date they are available. You are welcome to call us the day before their availability to ensure the pet is still for adoption.

Rescue is a nonprofit organization with a tax-exempt 501(c)(3). If you have never pulled from the Wasco Animal Shelter, please email us two references (vet preferably) and a copy of your 501(c)(3) form to [email protected].
