Serving the community since 1970
The Pizza Factory has been remodeled and is under new ownership.
"I am grateful for the opportunity to take over, and I am excited to see how I can work with the city of Wasco to bring the community together during these times. I hope to create a special place where one can enjoy great food and a great atmosphere," said new owner Chai Lee.
"The city is growing. The generation is changing, and I want to adapt to this while supporting Wasco in any way I can," added Lee.
Lee chose Wasco because she wanted the feel of a small mom-and-pop pizza parlor. Her goal is to provide Wasco with a fun, family-friendly restaurant with outstanding service and a high-quality product.
"We take pride in the smile that first bite of pizza gives our guests. We strive to make everyone feel as if this is their hometown pizzeria. Our hand-tossed pizzas are simply the best. Each bubbly, cheesy pie is made with the 100% real mozzarella cheese and our signature sauce," said Lee.
Although there are other pizza restaurants in town, the Pizza Factory stands out for its chicken wings, sandwiches, salads, calzones, soft drinks, and cold beer. They pride themselves on making delicious dough, an incredible sauce, and using fresh ingredients sourced locally, Lee said.
Pizza Factory recently added music with a jukebox that customers can enjoy while eating. They also host karaoke nights on Saturdays twice a month.
"People love music, watching people sing and enjoy just having an overall great time," said Lee.
Other special events planned for the future include bingo and arts and crafts nights. In addition, Lee is working on bringing live entertainment to the restaurant and encourages interested local musicians to reach out to her.
Pizza Factory plans to continue aiding local schools and churches by helping them raise funds for their programs. They offer fundraising cards to sell for $10, and the money they raise they keep. One can use the cards to redeem free breadsticks, mini pizzas, and discounts on purchases.
Weekly specials like their Monday discounted one large pizza with one topping for $12.99 help make dining out affordable. There is a lunch buffet deal from Monday thru Friday, 11 a.m. - 2-p.m., all-you-can-eat pizza, salad, and soft drinks for $9.95.
Pizza Factory is located at 2325 Highway 46. Their hours of operation are Monday thru Thursday and Sunday from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m., and Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. - 10 p.m. Call them at 661-240-5262 or find them on Facebook and Instagram at PizzaFactoryWasco.
