Wasco Branch Library is in partnership with NO Kid Hungry and the Kern County Superintendent of Schools is offering FREE meals and space to do homework.

Wasco Recreation & Park Board — Meetings are on every 3rd Thursday of the month at 6 p.m. at the Hall at Barker Park, Wasco.
Food giveaway — The Impact Program is a weekly food giveaway provided to anyone in need, Fridays beginning at 7 a.m., first come, first serve. Griffith Avenue Baptist Church, 408 Griffith St., Wasco.
Depot Museum — The Shafter Depot Museum is open every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Depot is located at 150 Central Valley Highway.
