Wasco Animal Shelter

Come in and meet Ajay, a small adult male chihuahua terrier mix.

Ajay is black, brown and chocolate and has a short coat.

He is good in a home with other dogs. Ajay came in as a stray and he is approximately 3-years old. He's timid toward staff and staff is monitoring his behavior daily.

He has been tested with both small and large dogs. At the time it is unknown if Ajay is house/crate trained. Dogs are not tested with children and cats. He was available for adoption Dec. 3. Owners are aware of his impoundment.

Everyone is welcome to adopt from the facility. Adopters can be from out of town and/or local. We do not place holds for adoption. Potential adopters are responsible for transportation.

You are more than welcome to call the facility to set an appointment to meet him and possibly adopt him on that day. We accept first-call, first-serve. Appointments made by email are not accepted.

Rescue is a nonprofit organization with a tax exempt 501(c) (3). If you never pulled from the Wasco Animal Shelter, email the shelter two references and a copy of your 501(c) (3) form to [email protected]

If you have any questions, call 661-758-7240.
