A 24-year-old Wasco man was stabbed to death May 3.
Two men have been charged in the murder.
Kern County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the 800 block of Broadway. When they arrived, deputies found a man suffering from stab wounds.
The victim was later identified as 24-year-old Jose Aleman. Aleman was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
On May 8, homicide detectives arrested Aaron Garcia, 22, on a felony murder warrant. Garcia was booked into the Kern County Sheriff’s Office Central Receiving Facility jail.
On May 11, deputies from the Wasco Substation arrested Angel Soto, 31, on a felony warrant related to the investigation. Soto was booked into the Kern County Sheriff’s Office Central Receiving Facility jail for accessory to murder.
