Visit the Wasco Animal Shelter and check out Barkley, a young male Wirehaired Terrier. He is a mix of brown, chocolate, yellow, tan, blond and fawn with a medium coat.

Barkley gets along well with other dogs at the shelter and he would be good in a home with other dogs. He is approximate 1-2 years old. He has been great with staff, but has only been tested with large breed dogs at this time. It is unknown if he is house or crate trained. Dogs are not tested with cats or children. He will be available May 13.

If this is your dog, contact the shelter at 661-758-7240.

Animals are adopted first-come, first serve and appointments must be made by a telephone call.

All dogs will be neutered/spayed once adopted, depending upon the availability of the local vet. It is not guaranteed that the animal will be spayed/neutered the same day.

The shelter is accepting rescue, a nonprofit organization with a tax exempt 501 (c)(3).

If you have questions about Barkley, call the shelter at 661-758-7240.
