CORRECTION: It's a new city manager for Shafter, NOT Wasco

A new city manager has been hired in Shafter. Wasco already has one in Daniel Ortiz-Hernandez.

A story in the Wasco Tribune's Feb. 20 edition mistakenly headlined that the selection was made in Wasco, which led to a number of phone calls to City Hall in both city's, as well as the paper's office.

The Tribune regrets the error.
