Rural crime report

Between June 5 and June 6, at 6 a.m. unknown suspect(s) cut the locks to a farm storage area, located near Highway 43 and Petersen Road, and stole a plastic bag containing recyclables. Sometime between June 1 at 12 a.m. and June 7 at 9:15 p.m., unknown suspects stole a John Deere 12-volt battery from a tractor parked in an orchard near Beech Avenue. and Orange Street. Contact Detective Tanner Miller at 661-392-6093 or [email protected]. Refer to case #2019-00091272.

Between June 6 at 3 a.m. and June 7 at 6:30 a.m., unknown suspect(s) forcibly entered a seatrain near Highway 46 and Corcoran Road, where a green John Deere Gator 400 was stolen, along with a Briggs & Stratton eight-gallon air compressor, a red Predator 2000 generator, a 25-gallon spray tank and two blue Makita electric drills.
