LAST WEEK: A 1927 loving cup inscribed "20th Birthday -- Wasco Most Unique Parade Entry." Trophy was awarded to Tipton Mathews, Wasco's first postman, active in many phases of this young township. Donated the society by daughter, Irene Mathews Cruzam, of Pismo Beach, 1990.
